Jordan window channels, 29" long

A home owner from New Mexico says:

Metal channel is 29" long. Springs ate identical but ate set in different holes. The plastic ends are identical on the 2840 and on the 2820 channels. This channels are from a Jordan window installed in 1986.

Hi- thanks for reaching out! 

Yes, the ends will be the same on the Jordan S390-29 side load balances. The difference is the spring weights. Some of your windows are using (2840) and others are using the lighter spring (2820) because the weight of the window sashes differ.
