Just folding handles?

A quick learner from Anacrtes says:

Greetings advanced help support, I need it!

I have nine casements, there are two types of actuators, two smaller singles and seven of the dual actuated types. The actuators are in decent shape, no gear problems? but I want to convert the fixed internal handles to foldable to get the handles out of the way of my blinds. Can you tell me from the pictures if I can convert this type of actuator to a folding crank like the Encore Tango or similar? So far I have not found a way to take the internal cover off.

If not, what would I need to do to get a folding option? Please don't say buy new actuators, that feels like such a waste.

Thanks,

Michael

Hello,

Take a look at the video below that will help you choose the correct Encore operators to replace your dual arm assemblies.

As for the second split arm operator, take a look and compare the specifications of the 39-220B and 39-221B to yours.

I believe that your original operators are the Maxim style that does not have removable covers but would be compatible with the 39-205 folding handle.

The new style Encore replacements use the 39-375 and 39-376 folding handle and cover kits. Thanks for posting!
