A home owner from Cumming, Ga says:
Our KK window crank broke off and need to replace the star inside the handle. Do we need to replace the whole crank mechanism?

Hello,

If the only damaged part is the handle itself, you may be able to replace the handle with our 39-114L as long as the worm gear that it installs on measures 11/32" in diameter. Take a look and see if this could work for you. Thanks for posting!

Casey,

Thanks for responding! Actually the worm gear is the part that is broken. The handle itself is fine.

In that case, you will need to replace the entire operator but you can reuse the handle. To identify the correct replacement, we'll need to see a photo with the window open so that the arms that move the sash in and out are visible. Thank you!

Attached is a photo and hopefully this will help to identify the part I need to replace. Thanks!

Great. Take a look at our 39-031 Entrygard operator and see how the dimensions compare to yours.
