K&K window crank extension

Question

I had previously sent in a question about finding an extension for the existing cranks I have for these K&K windows or an extended crank, longer than the ones I currently have.

I believe my original case was 36451934.

I had plantation shutters installed over the existing windows which extended the window sill at the bottom. Thus, the original cranks now wind and hit the top of the bottom window sill, marking the sill. Is there an extension I can add to the existing crank to open the windows or a different, longer crank that will clear the window sill at the bottom?

Hello, Ruth! As a matter of fact, I think I know just what you need. Start by looking at our 39-337 2" extension. I am very confident this will fit on your operator, the only question is whether it's long enough. If 2" is too short, then we also have the 39-157, which doubles that.
