Karey Storm window latches

Question

Hi,

I ordered 91-176, but someone amended my order to this: 26-016 B1C6 storm window latches order 1144739 and wrote at top of order "amend" Ordered 11-27-18.

They were ok, but the side catches were a bit too thick, do you have something with slightly thinner side catches? We were able to use the latches, but we needed to grind them down quite a bit.

I have uploaded a photo of my original Karey latch that needs replacing, the part of it that sticks out to the side is where the latch I ordered through Swisco is a bit too big. Please let me know if you have a better fitting latch that I can order. I need more latches, but trying to get a better fitting one.

I'm afraid that parts for the Karey storm sashes are no longer available. As long as the corner housing fits your frame, I suggest grinding or filing down the latch to fit the notches in the main frame of the window. There is a good chance you won't find anything closer on the market.
