Kawneer door Pivot hinge questions

Dear Sir/Madam:
My name is Nick and I live in Houston Texas. I have two questions:

1. How do you define left or right?
If I stand outside the building looking in, the door pivot is on my left hand side.
If I stand inside the building looking out, the same door pivot is on my right hand side.
So left or right depends on you where you are inside or outside of the building.

2. Do you have your dealer in Houston selling Kawneer door parts?

Hello,

"Left" and "Right" handed hardware is actually defined differently from manufacturer to manufacturer. Some companies define it by what side the hardware sits on, while others may define it by the direction in which the door opens. There really is no industry standard. The best way to determine the correct match would be to compare the orientation of the top and bottom installation holes to our replacement options, which you can find here.
