Keeps the window up to lock

Question

window tilts in for cleaning.  top part of the window will not stay up in place and slides down, so the window is now open at the top and bottom.  unable to lock window now.  I do not know what the name of this part is, but it is broken on both sides of the window.

Hi, it looks like you are in need of a pivot shoe. In order to determine your replacement, we'll need to see a good pivot shoe from another window, the width and thickness of the shoe, and the pivot bar in the sash that goes in the center cam of the pivot shoe.
