Key cylinder for sliding patio door handle w/ spot for a lock

A handy person from Sacramento says:
Hi, looking to confirm some details about your 82-310.

I want to add a keyed lock to my sliding patio door. The exterior handle appears to have a circle cutout for this. The diameter of the circle is 5/8", and there are little round nubbins on the interior of the handle to presumably hold the lock in place.

Door is 1 3/8" thick.

Is this the correct product for my application? Thx!

Hey there!

Yes, our 82-310 should work fine with your current set up. You'll just need to punch/drill out the key plug in the exterior handle and cut the key cylinder tail to the appropriate length.
