Key for sliding patio door

Question

I recently moved to New home but a key was not left for the patio sliding door lock.  Can I purchase a key or do I have to replace the entire lock?  If you can let me know replacement parts if available.  Pictures attached.  Thank you.

Hello there. Unfortunately each key is individually cut for every specific key cylinder, so your best option is going to be to just replace the entire lock with a new set of keys. Our 82-310 should be able to do this. When installing the new key lock you'll want to take care to not cut the tailpiece too short. The video below shows how to install a similar lock piece.
