Key lock cylinder

Question

I recently purchased the 82-310 key lock to replace the old one pictured above.
The new key lock does not fit as the height of the is to big. 7/16" compared to 3/8" for the old one.
Is there a replacement that matches this?
Or do I have to purchase a whole new handle 82-086 looks like it would work

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I can't be certain this will work, but one option would be to try and sand down the fin on the 82-310 to make up the difference. Just note that modified products cannot be returned for refunds. Let me know if this works for you if you attempt it, or if you have any other quesitons.
