Key won't turn on the 82-086

Hi there. A few things come to mind. I recommend you check to see if the key cylinder tail could be too long and might need to be trimmed a little. Also, see if the hole in the door for the key cylinder is wide enough. You might need to open up the hole so the tail has room to turn. The 82-086 handle is compatible with a handful of mortise locks. However, the best match will depend on the original. You'll have to compare the specifications with the 82-218 to see if they align with yours. You are also welcome to upload a photo of the old lock for us to review.
