Keyed Sliding Door

Quick Learner from New York
I want to replace this sliding door handle with one that can lock with a key. Can you please advise which part would work best? I understand that it's an old system and that I may need to modify the way it latches to my door frame.

Hello! As a matter of fact, I think we may have something that won't require any modification at all. Check out our 82-082, which looks like a dead ringer for your existing handle set. Let me know if this matches up in terms of size.

Thanks Tom. But does that one lock with a key? I'm looking to convert my existing one to one that I can lock.

Oh gosh, I'm sorry for missing that part of your post. I was too absorbed by your pictures.

The 82-082 doesn't come with a key, but it is compatible with one. We usually use the 82-310 (sold separately). The outer handle that it comes with has a hole that you can punch out where the key lock would fit.

That's what I was hoping. Thanks so much!
