Keyed patio door lock for American Craftsman 5500 patio door

I'm trying to find a keyed door lock for an American Craftsman 5500 series patio door. Attached is a picture of what I currently have which is not keyed.

Hello,

Take a look and compare the specifications of the 82-030 handle set with 3-15/16" hole spacing to yours. This assembly does not come with a key lock but it is compatible with the 82-310, which is sold separately. Thanks for posting.

Ref my D275998 - your responso recommending the 82-310 keyed lock and the 82-030. MY subsequent ordering of both for which I have on hand. Is there a Video of the installation of tthe keyset thereto. - Assuming there are punchouts for the lock? Just checking before tearing into the hardware on an assumption.

We unfortunately don't have a guide on the 82-030 itself, but it does have three round punches in the exterior handle. You just need to knock out whichever one aligns with the mortise while installed.

The video below is a general guide on how to knock out a punch on similar handle set. While the products used here are different, the principle is more or less the same.
