Keyed storm door lock with 1/2" offset

Hi, I'm looking for a keyed storm door lock, that has a 1/2" offset from the flat surface. Your item 40-039 is very close to what I need, but it has only a 1/4" offset. My storm door is 3/4" thick.

It sounds like you could just shim it out. The 40-039 actually comes with a 1/8" thick shim that you can use to build up the lock base. Could this work for you?

I think the 1/8" thick shim will give me just what I need. Thanks for the info, and I will order 40-039.
