Keying of 40-049

Question

If I order two (2) of the 40-049 mortise locksets can they be keyed alike?

what type of keyway is used?
as I have the ability to rekey certain brands if you cannot supply the locks keyed alike

We aren't able to sell locksets that are keyed alike, unforutnately.

The 40-049 also doesn't use a standard keyway, strangely enough. We've tried pretty much all of the most common types and none work. That's why we sell the 40-900 key blank, which is specifically designed to work with the 40-049.
