Kinko Window Balance Identification Help

Home Owner from Jacksonville, FL
I need to replace the spring balances in multiple, 18+year old Kinko windows. The priority are the two 48x59 sized windows in the front of my house. After watching the "how to" video to remove the window, I have taken a few pictures of the balances in the window. The makings on the balance are 29 6 BSI with maybe a small "p" between the numbers and letters. The length of the metal bracket on the balance is 30". The top clip has been broken on these windows for over a decade, thanks to the Florida heat. I need to identify the correct balance to purchase for these two big windows. Thanks.

I will also need additional assistance in identifying the sash guides to keep the balances in place. Thanks.

Start off with taking a look at our S380-30 channel balance. This comes assembled with a 19-005 balance top and 15-005 bottom balance shoe. Compare your complete balance with ours to make sure everything is a match. If everything looks good, then you can go with the 2960 option that corresponds to your stamp of "29 6".

Paul,

Thanks for the response. I purchased the S380-30, 2960 option and the balances worked great. The two big windows are finally opening and closing again.

Now to determine the options for the remaining 8 windows and order new balances for them.

Thanks!
