Kinro window parts

Question

Hello and good day. I was needing some help in tracking down some parts for my Kinro windows. I'm looking for the correct spiral balancers (looks like a tan or brown color), glazing bead, and weatherstripping. I appreciate any help I can get.

Hello there!

This looks like a spiral balance for a tilt window. If it is, see our Series 900 (3/8" diameter tube) or Series 600 (5/8" diameter tube). As for what color tip option to choose, yours is a bit faded so we suggest weighing the window sash to determine the appropriate spring strength option. There's a chart on the S900 and S600's store pages that will show you which option you'll need based on the weight of your sash. If you need a new pivot shoe as well, remove yours and write out the exact thickness and width. That will help us narrow down your options.

As for the weatherstripping, can you write out the exact pile width and pile height? We carry many different types of pile weatherstripping, which you can see here, but it will ultimately come down to the dimensions.

Finally, for the glazing, we don't carry your exact one, but we have a few that are similar in design. Take a look at our 55-163, 55-164, 55-196, 55-197 and 55-204. Look over the dimensions for each and see if any match what you need.
