Kinro windows

A landlord from Hawkinsville, ga says:
Hello, my spiral balances measure .385 in diameter and have red tips. The ones I've measured so far are 26" and 24" in length. I just bought the 1998 Skyline Brookstone double wide and all spiral balancers appear to be failed which caused the pivot pins to break on every window but one. I found the correct pivot pins from another supplier but I need the spiral balancers from you guys. I see only 5/8" balancers, do you have 3/8" balancers available?
A landlord from Hawkinsville, ga says:
I found the 3/8" diameter balances (series 900) and have a few in my cart. I will measure the rest of the windows tomorrow and submit the order. Is there any sort of preventive maintenance that I can do to extend the life? The ones I've inspected are lubricated and not corroded in any way but they buckle when I try to slide the shoe.

Glad you were able to find what you needed. There's not really any preventative maintenance you can do. Just make sure you weigh your sashes and confirm that the color tip option you choose covers it. Spiral balances typically last around 10 years, depending on how often they're used.
