I am looking for a match for Kitchen Kompact Product ID: 982279 I believe. Can't find a schematic anywhere for it. Max length of bracket from backplate - 2 1/4", and track opening needs to be 1"

Hello,
The 32-012 does have the 1" opening that you need but you would also need to confirm that the 7/16" width and orientation of the opening shown below would work for your application. We also offer the 32-089 with a 1" by 3/8" opening.
