Kitchen Window Hardware - Alenco

Home Owner from The Woodlands, Tx
I have a single hung Alenco window that had this same part replaced years ago, not sure why. However, the handyman at the time, said Alenco had gone out of business and that he couldn't find the exact part needed, but said he came close. The window does not stay up completely, dependent of the weather when put up all the way, it slides down a few inches.

Handyman Gary said the spring is not as strong as the original. This window is next to an exterior door and has heavier double pane glass. Not sure if Gary replaced both sides and if this is original or what he bought to replace it with. The part has the number 2750 stamped on it and it measures 29" long. Measurements of window overall are 46.5" wide, total 82" tall, the bottom window that this channel is for is 29.5" high. Width of channel is 1/2". Hope this is enough information to help identify.

Thanks

Thanks for your entry. Your balance looks similar to our S395-28 channel balance. You will need to weigh your sash on a scale and look at he chart we shown on the product store page to confirm the best option. Get back to us and let us know how you made out.
