The photos are of a knife latch from a United NC 4100 series double hung window screen I purchased back in 2007. I outfitted my rental complex units with these windows and although the screens are in good shape, the knife latches which hold the screens in place in the window frames are brittle and are beginning to break thus allowing the screens to fall out. I need roughly 50 of the latches to replace the broken ones. United does not manufacture this part any more but recommended contacting Swisco.com. I truly appreciate any guidance that you can give me on this matter.
