L shaped window pivot bars

A quick learner from Canada says:
Hi, I can't find these L shaped bars and wanted to know if I could just use straight bars instead.

I'm afraid that I'm having a little trouble finding this style, too. I wonder if you have an older window.

Either way, would it be possible to see a photo of the pivot shoe that this interacts with? My goal right now is to find you a more modern replacement for this, but any replacement I suggest is probably going to be a very different style. As such, I want to ensure that whatever I find is at least compatible with your pivot shoe that your window will be functional. Thanks!

Hopefully this photo helps.

Thank you! My first recommendations would be the 26-021 and the 26-241. The front tip of these two bars will be fully compatible with your old pivot shoe, so there's no worry here. The only thing you have to account for is hole placement; the two products I mentioned both have a different array of screw holes, so your goal now is to just make sure at least one matches up. Maybe two, if you're lucky.

You'll note that both of these pivot bars lack the vertical post of your original. I don't know if that's a vital detail or not, unfortunately. Hopefully you can go without it and not have an issue. For now, look over the two parts I mentioned and see what you think.
