Larson Storm Door Strike Plate Replacement

Good Evening, We are searching for a replacement strike plate for our Larson storm door from Menards. The strike place is damaged and needs replacement. It is 7 inches long, 3/4 inch wide and the holes are 6 1/4 on center. Please refer to the attached photo for reference. From reading your posts I think that model 40-197 in white will work. We also wanted to know if you had a heavier metal, as this one is pretty thin material. Thanks in advance for your help. Rick

Hi Rick, thanks for writing in. The 40-197 is certainly our closest match at the moment, but we unfortunately have not been able to guarantee its functionality as a replacement for your Larson strike plate. It seems to be larger than the dimensions you provide, although I wonder if you might be able to drill new installation holes. I'm sorry we don't have a better answer for you at this time.
