Larson storm door strike plate shorter than 40-197

Hello, I ordered a white strike plate, item # 40-197, for my Larson storm door. But it is too long! My old strike plate is 7 inches long, while the part I ordered is about 8 inches long. I will be returning the parts. However, I was hoping that you had a similar strike plate that is 7 inches long. Also, I am very pleased with how quickly I received my order! Thank you!

I see what you mean. Unfortunately, the 40-197 is the only strike plate we carry for the Larsen storm door. Yours may be an older version that isn't made anymore.
Before you send it back for a refund, take a look and see if you can adapt it to your storm door jamb. You might only need to drill a new installation hole in the door frame to mount the longer plate.
