Into what other part does the 10-553 fit into to make the "Latch Throw"

The part that makes this concealed latch set work is inside the door, if that breaks you need a new door or a sliding latch conversion kit. The conversion kit replaces missing or broken concealed latches with a surface mount slide latch.
If needed, take a look at 10-401 and 10-402 to see if one of these would fit your door.
