Latch Too Big

Question

Aloha and good morning,

The screen door latch/handle we order unfortunately does not fit our door. (She purchased 82-008.) It is too deep/thick; we need it to fit a 1" depth. The screen door is about 30 years old.I have attached two photos hopefully you have something that I can exchange for.

Thanks for reaching out! I'm sorry to hear her purchase did not work out but I believe our 82-002 could potentially work as a suitable replacement. Take a look over the dimensions and design and compare it to the existing handle set. This set comes with a compatible keeper and can fit a door with a 1" to 1-1/8" thickness.
