Latch for double hung window

Home Owner from Chapel Hill, NC
I need a replacement for this latch. This is a photo of an undamaged one from a different window. The protruding handle moves from right to left, and is flush with the body when closed. It's from a window which is about 20 years old, and I don't know the manufacturer. The distance between the screws is 2-1/4". The tapered rectangular base is 3" at the bottom by 3/4" at the bottom. Hoping you can identify it and - even better - supply it! I would happily buy several, to prepare for future breakages. Thanks so much for your help with this.

Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. This lock reminds me of the 90-005 and 90-009. They also measure 2-1/4" on the installation hole centers but the best match will depend on the style of the "tongue". Review the specifications and see which one matches up best.

Aha! I removed the existing latch and it happens to have a part number on the back: 30271. Photo of back is attached. Is this a part I can order from you?

I'm afraid this number doesn't help us ID your hardware. The locks mentioned previously appear to be our best matches but you'll have to compare the specifications to see if one of them matches up.

I have that same latch on my windows. Wondering if you ordered a replacement and did it work?
thanks,
