Latch for sliding door

Quick Learner from Pataskala, ohio
Looking for this part to lock our slider. We have two sliders so this is a picture of the other one. We need to find the part that attaches to the frame

Looks like you need a keeper for a sliding glass door. We have a bunch of keepers for this kind of application but none match yours. Would it be possible to see a photo of the mortise lock that engages with it? That may help us find a good match.

Thank you! That's a huge help. So your mortise latch there is our 82-218. This is compatible with a bunch of different keepers, though none look like yours. They may still work anyway. Start with our 89-020.

The one concern I have is whether the 89-020 sticks out far enough for your mortise to work properly. Your original looks very deep. That's why I selected the 89-020; of the selection of keepers that are compatible with  our 82-218, this is the deepest. Even then it may not be enough. Be prepared to shim it out with washers (or whatever you think would be best) so that it will stick out a little deeper.

Let me know if you had any questions, or if you don't think my suggestion will work. I'd be happy to look into alternatives if you wish.
