Latch for storm door

Question

The latch will not open from outside. I?d like to replace it. I tried Home Depot and Lowe?s but kits are only for up to 1 1/4 inch thick doors and this door is 2 inches thick. Photos show latch and a sticker with identifying numbers located on the door.

We don't have this exact handle set, but look at our 40-058. This may work for you. Let me know what you think!
