Latch for storm door

A home owner from Cleveland Ihio says:
Hello. I recently had an attempted break in. The latch for my storm door is broken. The only marks I can find are Herbst Lazar 1983. An internet search directed me to you. The screw holes are 2" apart. Do you have anything that would work? Thank you.

Hello, thanks for writing in. This storm door style is no longer made, but take a look at our 40-145 latch. Look over all the dimensions and specifications and see if you think this could work as a replacement. Now, if you decide to replace the entire handle set, we've found you can use our 40-177. Take a look and see what you think.
