Latch for the handle

Question

Hello - I recently purchased the 83-040 for my patio door. The handle with the latch for the lock did not come with a snap on button/screw to hold the latch in place. Am I missing something?

Hey, Linda. Our 83-040 comes with the 33-006 rivet, which fastens the latch to the handle. We also sell the 75-012S rivet tool, but if you don't know how to install a rivet we suggest contacting a local professional for assistance.
