Latch issue

Quick Learner from Williamstown

Good morning and thank you for all your knowledge and customer service that you and your employees provide. The only problem that I had with my order was on one of the 38-090 latches. There was no mounting stud. It appears that it never formed from the factory but it isn?t worth sending back at this time Not worth the shipping cost.

I was wondering if you are familiar with the discontinued DEL MAR TORONTO casement window. The very top of the window does not close fully yet there seems to be no cam adjustment on the upper or lower hinge that would require a flat 7/16 wrench called a Milgard wrench? The only way i can see to get anybadjustment would be to shim under the top plastic pivot. Do you have any experience with this situation?

If not. Thank you in advance I will continue to do business with you personally, at work when needed and I will recommend your company to anyone in need of parts for doors or windows.

Thank you Mark

Hey, Mark. I'm sorry to hear about the defective 38-090 lock you purchased. I'll get our customer service team on that and make sure a function lock is sent to you ASAP. I believe our shipping hours are over for the day, but we can get that out to you first thing Monday morning.

I'm not sure about the issue you're having with the hinge, though. Most casement window hinges can be adjusted, though I can't say exactly what you have. It's probably a generic hinge set so I can't be certain. Would it be possible to see a photo of the issue and the hinge? That might help me get a better idea of what you have and what you can do to fix this problem.
