Latch issue

Hi,

Latch issue...

I have a PPG Herculite X storm door with tempered glass.

This model door does not have handles with an in-door latch.
Instead it has handles but the latch is located on one side. But it is missing the female part that the latch goes into.

How come this part is not included in the kit.
