I need the metal part the the door handle latches into..see pic of side of sliding door where screw holes are located

This is an interesting setup. I believe your door might use a mortise lock our 82-218, but with that insulation its hard to tell. If that's the case though, the 82-218 can work with keepers like our 89-020 or 89-021. See if one of these might work for you. Let me know what you think.
