Latch set universal?

Question

Is latch set 10-553 universal in that it will fit most major manufacturers toilet partitions.  How is the old latch removed and this one installed?

Thank you for your patience. The 10-553 will work for many different brands. You will need to take a look at your existing partition hardware and see if the 10-553 would fit.
