Latch wont latch

Recently bought replacement latches for my new house that were missing. They were broken, now that they are installed they don't latch after windows is fully closed. It short like 1/4-1/8 is there anything I can buy to ensure they are locked rather than using the the screw at the bottom of the seel.

The closest match we have is our 90-005, though I'm not sure what it is you purchased. Look over this part and see if it would be a better fit.
