Window Latches

Handy Person from Providence, RI
These windows were originally purchased at Northeast Supply in West Warwick, RI around 2004. I called them and they forwarded me to another company that deals with parts. They told me the name of the company that manufactured them, but I forgot it--and they're our of business--so much for that lifetime warranty!

I recalled the name of the manufacturer: Riverdale Window. Apparently they're owned by Northeast Distributors, or Warwick, RI, who as I said did the installation in 2004.

I just need to replace the latch (5 total--2 x 2-latch windows, and 1 x 1-latch).

I'm confident we can replace this lock for you. Before we can recommend anything, can you tell me the distance between the installation holes, center-to-center? Can you also tell me the installation hole offset? This would be the distance between the hole centers and the glass-facing edge of the lock. Thanks!

Thanks, Tom. I will be able to provide that tomorrow afternoon at the latest.

Tom, the space between holes is 2" and the offset is 1/2". This is in reply to D88764.
Thanks, Eric

The closest we've been able to find is our 90-161, which has an installation hole spacing of 2-1/6" with a 7/16" hole backset. The keeper might be our 90-257. Please compare this hardware to your own and let me know your thoughts.
