Latches broke on my sliding window from 1978

Quick Learner from Santa Barbara, CA
Id like some replacements for some broken latches on a 1978 manufactured home sliding window. This latch is used throughout the unit.
Thanks, Joe

Hey, Joe. I'm afraid I've never seen a latch like this before. It's not totally surprising, since sliding windows tend to use weird parts, but the bad news is we won't be able to supply an exact match.

We may be able to find a substitute, though. Before I make any recommendation, can you describe how this part functions? Does it latch into a keeper or something else? Does it lock the window? Would you also happen to know who made the window itself?

If we can find a part that sort of works the same way, you may be able to use that instead. Please let me know!

I cant find any makers name or marks, but, here are some other pics of the latch, perhaps they might help finding a replacement. Thanks for your help.

Thank you for the additional photos. Being as this latch is very old, I was not able to locate the manufacturer of this part. The only suggestion we can provide at this time would be to go with our 90-005 sash lock as a replacement. The 90-005 locks in a similar way with a wedge, however, you will need to drill new installation holes to attach it. Look it over and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
