Latching mech spring loaded...

Question

My storm door no longer latches mainly because the it doesn't pop(spring) out to catch the stationary latch plate. The problem assembly is shown mainly by 1st and 2nd photos.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We have the 40-145 and 40-150 inside latches that measure 1-3/4" installation hole centers. They're not exact, so we can't promise they'll replace your old one.

We also sell the 40-058 handle assembly, which may be worth considering. Review the specifications and see what you think.
