Thanks for posting. This looks like either an S380-30 or S385-30 Channel Balance. The only difference between these two balances is the depth of that bottom nylon shoe, or the measurement from 'heel' to 'toe'. See the diagram below for reference. Compare both options with your old balance to determine what matches best.

You then need to choose a stamp option, which designates the strength of the balance. Your old balance's stamp of 29DS38 is unlike any in our selection; however, the '38' should denote the weight of the window sash that these balances support, 38 pounds. If that is the case, then select our stamp option of 2965, which designates a balance that can support a window sash in the weight range of 35 through 39 pounds.
