My channel balance is marked 29DS and there's also another faint marking (I'm not sure whether it says 38 or 88). It's from an impact window from Lawson and the its sash measures 30x34 inches. I don't know its weight, can it be estimated or do I need to remove it and weigh it before oredering the correct channel balance replacements?

Thank you for reaching out to us. The stamp printed on the channel isn't a part number, so we'll need more information. Can you show us a photo of the top fitting?
The last number in your stamp appears to be 38, which represents the sash weight.
