Leaking window

Question

Casement window (estimate installed date 1991). Leaking. It has sticky, peeling stuff, that's literally falling apart, with sticky residue on both sides where they meet. My son is very handy and may be able to tackle the job, but he's on a trip for 2 weeks. I'd like help figuring out what parts to buy so he can fix when he returns.

Thanks for your post! The only adhesive seal we have is the 58-180 Stick-On Foam Door Seal. I cannot make any guarantees that this is the replacement you need but take a look over the specifications and see what you think.

If this is not a match, you may need to take a sample of your original seal to a local hardware store to have them match it up for you.
