Left balance assembly for a 27 3/4x 35 1/4 vinyl window

Question

I want to see if I could get this balance before I attempt to remove it. It doesn't have the cut out in the track to get it out so I'm going to try to pound a wedge in there to spread it enough to remove it but only if I can get the part, do you have this part?  thanks

Hello,

We can't be sure of what you need with the original hardware still installed but the 15-228 would be a good place to start. If the specifications below match yours, the coils would be either the 1/2" thick Series 160 Coil Balance springs or the 3/8" thick Series 165 springs. You'll need to measure your original spring thickness to see which matches best.

I'd also recommend following the cut-out method below since spreading the jamb can cause it to break. Just let us know if you have any other questions.
