Legacy key handle set 82-087

Question

I currently have product 82-087. The bottom screw on ghe front, as seen in the photo, no longer can be tightened. When I try to screw it, it just spools and seems the internal mechanism is no longer functioning. Can you please point me to the correct part to order. I don't want to take it apart and not be able to put it together as then I can't secure my home. Thank you.

We appreciate your patience during this busy season. It sounds like the through bolt is stripped out. Unfortunately, we don't sell through bolts and we don't know of anyone who does. You could try and check with a hardware store to see if they can dig one up, but it's very unlikely they'd have one.

Otherwise, the best we can offer would be a new 82-087 handle set. I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
