Lever awning operator

Question

I purchased the Lever Lock Awning Operator 39-070. As you can see from my photos it is not the same size as my original.How do I go about getting the correct size?

I'm sorry to hear the 39-070 won't work for you. I'm afraid your original isn't made anymore, unfortunately. The 39-070 is the only possible replacement we have available, and I think it might be the only type of operator made in this style.

If you were to install it on the sill, would it still allow the window to operate normally? If so, you could theoretically alter the sill trim to fit around the new style hardware.
