Lever stuck in locked position

Thanks for posting! Since the lever is stuck in the lock position, you'll need to try removing the handle set and engaging the lock manually. To do this, you'll need to use a slotted screw driver to try to turn the hooks. 

If the lock does not budge, you'll need to have the lock cut out of the door. This is not a task we suggest taking on, unless extremely handy. That said, we do suggest contacting a professional to do this for you.

Once you are able to access the mortise lock, I'll need to see a photo of it to determine the correct replacement for it.

In the meantime, your handle set can be replaced with either the 82-080 (non-keyed) or the 82-081 (keyed) Mortise Style Handle Set.
