Hello, I need to replace some window channel balances and would like help identifying them. They are 28 7/8" long (metal part only), and I have included photos of their marking.

Thanks for writing in! Your window balances appear to be marked with a 26-5 stamp. That said, the length of the metal channel (excluding the top and bottom attachments) should be 27". Would you be able to double check this?

If I am correct, you'll need either the S380-27 or the S385-27. To determine which of these is the correct match, you'll need to confirm the depth (front to back measurement) of the bottom shoe.

Our 2650 stamp should work for the window. A pair of these will support a sash weighing 26 to 30lbs.
