How do you remove a lock lever handle? I need to unlock a casement window. My lock lever
handle is not broken. I need to remove the lock lever handle to access the inside of lock lever to shift the locking mechanism as shown in your video "Unlocking a casement window with a broken lock lever".

I'm afraid the handle lever is not meant to be removed. We recommend trying the card trick. What you can do is use an expired credit card, an expired gift card, or something else that's thin and slip it between the window and the frame and try to move the lock mechanism upward. With this method, you'll want to move the tie bar and lock in the way shown at 0:28 in the video above. If you're able to move the tie bar in this way, there's a chance the window will unlock.

Thank you for the suggestion! Using a thin-blade putty knife from the inside of the window, inserting between the window and the frame, and pushing down beneath the lock lever mechanism worked. Initially, I tried from the outside of the window, but I could not make the angle between the window and the frame. Window is open and ready for the replacement lock lever. Thanks again for the quick response!
