Lock hatch problem

Question

I think I have this lock at my sliding door (see pictures) and its not working now. Actually the grapping hook is not working.
(1) Is there any other lock for the same opening with stronger grapping arrangement? I don't need the lock but want stronger grapping?

Most of these old patio door locks are made of die cast metal, which is not the most durable. Your lock looks like our 82-002 set, if you need to replace the whole setup. If you just want to replace the keeper and pull handle, look at our 89-003 and 88-002, respectively. If you do want added security I suggest installing the security bar lock like our 80-006.
