Lock lever has a flat "rod" that has broken off. Lever does not stay in the lockset.

Is there a part available to replace the old one? Can I repair this myself?

Thanks for posting. You can replace this thumb lever and the spindle with the 82-107. Before doing this, you might want to check that the mortise lock in the door hasn't broken and was the cause of the lever breaking. To do this, try manually 'throwing' the mortise lock with a slotted screwdriver. If it doesn't budge, you know it has to be replaced as well. Send us a picture of the lock and we'll be happy to see if we have a match.
